Recording (II)

Since I started to compose “After the moonrise”, I’ve always imagined the instrumental “riff” doubled by a baritone sax.
Luckily, I’ve been collaborating for 15 years with the best baritonist sax out there, Domenico Mamone (an Ottavo Richter, like me).

So, yesterday I wrote an arrangement for three saxophones (at first two tenors + one baritone, soon becoming one tenor and two baritones), I called Domenico and this morning he was already recording in my home.

Needless to say, he was fast and practically perfect!
